Is this data legal to use?

Yes. Building permits, retrofit compliance lists and fire inspection results are public records. We collect, clean and organize them. Contacting building owners about your services is standard B2B outreach.

Why not pull it myself from open data?

You can. Retrofit lists, permits and inspection results live in different city systems, often as PDFs or permit search pages you can't download. We check them every week and link them to one building record with the owner.

How fresh are the records?

New records appear in the dashboard within a week of the city publishing them. On Pro, saved filters email you when a new record matches.

What if a record is wrong?

Click "Report a problem" on the record and we'll fix it. If the data isn't useful, the 30-day money-back guarantee covers you.

Will I be charged after the trial?

Only if you keep it. We email a reminder the day before your trial ends, and you can cancel in one click.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. No contracts. Cancel from your billing page and you won't be charged again.

Is my city covered?

We cover Chicago, Philadelphia and Houston today. Tell us yours and we'll prioritize it.
